One of our iOS leads, Kevin Lopez, moved back to his homeland of Puerto Rico in September last year, just weeks before the first of two hurricanes decimated the island.  Kevin stuck it out through both hurricanes, relocating for 2 months to California (everyone eventually needs a hot shower), before returning to the island in December.
We’re really pleased that Rocket Farm is able to sponsor an islander to attend a class on iOS development starting this month at the CodeTrotters Academy, Puerto Rico’s first coding bootcamp.  Kevin is teaching the class as a means to grow the development community in Puerto Rico.  Some of the press about this can be found here.
If you know someone in Puerto Rico who would be interested in applying for the scholarship you can find the link at CodeTrotters.

So, if you don’t know where to get started with a blueprint for your app, Rocket Farm Studios can take the pressure off.
