DAVID ROSE

David Rose is a product designer, technology visionary, and serial entrepreneur.

Currently David is Chief Executive at Vitality, a company that is reinventing medication packaging with wireless technology.

Rose founded and was CEO of Ambient Devices where he pioneered glanceable technology: embedding Internet information in everyday objects like light bulbs, mirrors, refrigerator doors, digital post-it notes, and umbrellas to make the physical environment an interface to digital information.

Rose founded Viant’s Innovation Center, an advanced technology group for Fortune 500s including Sony, GM, Schwab, Sprint and Kinkos. He helped build Viant to over 900 people, $140M and a successful IPO.

In 1997 Rose patented online photo-sharing and founded Opholio (acquired by FlashPoint Technology)

Before the Internet he founded and was President of Interactive Factory (acquired by RDW Group) which creates  interactive museum exhibits, educational software and smart toys, including the award-winning LEGO Mindstorms Robotic Invention System.

Rose taught information visualization at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and currently teaches a popular course in tangible user interfaces at the MIT Media Lab. He is a frequent speaker to corporations and design and technology conferences

He received his BA in Physics from St. Olaf College, studied Interactive Cinema at the MIT Media Lab, and earned a Masters Degree from Harvard University.

BRAD ROSEN

BRAD ROSEN

Brad is a high tech industry veteran with a track record of bringing innovative technologies to market at early stage companies.

Most recently Brad founded and ran iPhone software firm Drync LLC, developer of the top iPhone app for wine, Drync Wine. Before Drync, Brad was VP of Products at uLocate Communications, where he was responsible for the launch of WHERE for iPhone. Earlier in his career, Brad held management positions at Cognio (acquired by Cisco), Ucentric Systems (acquired by Motorola), and PureSpeech (acquired by VCS/Philips).

Brad speaks regularly at conferences and events about mobile, iPhone, and entrepreneurship, and is an advisor to a number of Boston-area startups. Brad holds an Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, and an MBA from MIT Sloan.

JEFFREY UNGER

Accomplished CEO, Board Member and Independent Turnaround Advisor with significant experience in executing global growth strategies and turnaround situations. Specific operational background in building scalable Supply Chain, Information Technology and Business Services companies through direct and indirect sales and M&A. Experienced in both venture capital investment and debt financing for company operations and M&A expansion purposes in the US and abroad. Have successfully led organizations, through both cyclical uptrend and downtrend environments, to profitability and exit strategies.

Since June 2009, Mr. Unger has been the Chairman of the Board of ADS Logistics, a leading provider of 3PL services to the metals industry. ADS Logistics shareholders include GE Capital, Regiment Capital and William Blair and Co

From April 2008 to June 2009, Mr. Unger was the lead director and turnaround specialist for Premier Logistics, a leading provider of unplanned and expedited logistics solutions. Landstar Systems acquired Premier Logistics in June 2009.

Since June 2006, Mr. Unger has been the Divisional President of Opsec Security Group. Opsec is a UK based Security technology and software company, listed on the London Stock Exchange {OSG: LSE}. He is responsible for developing and executing the global divisional strategy, managing the P/L statement and a global team of over 100 employees across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Mr. Unger has been responsible for mergers and acquisitions and their subsequent integration into Opsec. To date, Mr. Unger has led efforts on over a dozen potential transactions and has successfully executed three acquisitions based in Europe.

Prior to Opsec, Mr. Unger was the Chairman, CEO and founder of GenuOne Inc. Mr. Unger launched GenuOne in 1998 to help businesses solve supply chain security challenges, in both the physical and digital supply chain, utilizing information technology and business services. GenuOne was, an emerging growth software and services company with over $20M in equity based VC financing; in addition, the company raised a debt vehicle in the amount of $15M from Citizens Bank. Mr. Unger successfully negotiated the sale of GenuOne to OpSec in May of 2006.

He currently serves as a board member and independent advisor to a number of emerging growth technology and business services companies. Mr. Unger attended Boston University where he pursued a B.S. in International Relations and attended the OPM executive program at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Unger is active in numerous non-profit organizations in the Boston area and is married and with two children, a daughter age 7 and a son age 5.
